Toasted Ravioli



12 oz package of any Valicenti ravioli variety
3 large eggs
1/4 c milk
2 c bread crumbs
2 tbsp of a finely chopped parsley
Finely-ground pepper
Vegetable oil for frying


Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Whisk eggs and milk together and in a separate dish (shallow), combine bread crumbs, parsley, salt, & pepper.

Coat frozen ravioli in egg mixture, then cover in bread crumbs, then place on cookie sheet. Once all are breaded, put back in freezer to keep cold.

Once oil is hot, remove ravioli from freezer and fry in pan until both sides are golden brown. Once done, set on paper towel to blot out excess oil. Skewer on tooth pic with garnish and serve with a gravy or pesto to complement.

Recommend garnishes:

  • Braised Beef - fresh basil leaf

  • Asparagus & Brie - oven-roasted cherry tomato

  • Moroccan Braised Carrot & Chickpea - sliced red pepper sautéed with thyme
