feat. Braised Chestnut Ravioli

It's Easy

We make the ravioli - you cook it.  Now what to put on it?  Don't worry.  Sometimes a few simple and fresh ingredients is all you need to make your ravioli dish taste amazing.  Enjoy this simple recipe with our Braised Chestnut ravioli.

1.  Valicenti Braised Chestnut Ravioli

Buy it directly from us in Hollis, NH or at a farmers market or find it at a local store near you!  Follow the cooking instructions on the back of the package.

2.  Brown Butter

Put 3 tablespoons of butter in a pan on low-medium heat until it starts to "brown" - it'll tan around the edges.  You'll want to turn up the heat for the next step!

3.  Shallots

Cut 1 -2 shallots in half the long way and then cut it into thin, long slices.  Add them to the butter.

4.  Wild Mushrooms

Add a handful of whatever mushrooms you'd like.  Any kind will do!  We like oyster, shiitake, and portobello.  Cut them up and add them to the butter.

5.  Fresh Thyme

Fresh ingredients are always best.  Add a few springs of fresh thyme to the pan.  Sautée til your hearts content.
