Fried Zucchini flowers, Zucchini, & Red Gravy
(feat. Zucchini alla Parmigiana ravioli)
1. Zucchini alla Parmigiana ravioli
Pick up a pack of Zucchini alla Parmigiana ravioli directly from us, at a farmers' market, or a local shop near you! Visit the Find Us page for locations. Follow the cooking instructions on the back of the package.
2. Zucchini flowers
Wash zucchini flowers inside and out.
Whisk two eggs, 1/2 cup milk, and flour in a bowl.
Place zucchini flowers in bowl and cover in mixture.
Put olive oil in a frying pan and place zucchini flowers in until they start to brown.
Get a couple of zucchini and cut into thick slices.
Sautee in olive oil on high until they start to brown.
Remove and place on paper towel to absorb excess oils.
4. Red Gravy
Pick up a jar of our Red Gravy - directly from us in Hollis, NH, at a local farmers' market, or a store near you. Visit the Find Us page for locations.
Heat Red Gravy in a sauce pan on low.
Make sure to stir!
Plate ravioli, cover in Red Gravy, top with zucchini and fried zucchini flowers.
Add fresh mozzarella and/or crushed walnuts.
