Caramelized Apple, Onion, & Bacon w/ Cranberry Red Wine Reduction
feat. Multigrain Roasted Apple, Camembert, & Almond Ravioli
Apple, Onion, & Bacon
Cook bacon in a skillet. Once cooked, remove and place on a plate with a paper towel. Add apple and onion slices to heated skillet and cook until they started to brown. Cut up the bacon and re-add it to the skillet until crispy.
Cranberry Red Wine Reduction
Add red wine to a sauce pan. Add 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 1/4 cup of cranberries, and a spring of rosemary (optional). Reduce wine 80%. Remove from heat and whisk in 4 tablespoons of butter. Set aside.
Multigrain Roasted Apple, Camembert, & Almond ravioli
Boil ravioli per instructions of the back of the package. Set aside, strain, and plate on top of caramelized, apple, onion, and bacon.
Baby Spinach & Watercress
Wash and spin baby spinach and watercress. Place on top of your plated ravioli. Drizzle cranberry red wine reduction over ravioli and top with slivered almonds. Enjoy!
