Ale Caramelized Onion & Mushroom
Ingredients
-
1 package of Valicenti Pasta Farm's Cheddar Stout Ravioli
-
1/2 stick unsalted butter
-
1 cup (8 oz.) of medium bodied ale or favorite beer (Smuttynose Old Brown Dog American Brown Ale)
-
1 medium yellow onion; julienned
-
8 oz. Crimini mushrooms; sliced
-
1/4 cup Annie's Organic Worcestershire
-
1 tbls Sir Kensington's Dijon Mustard


Cooking Instructions

1. Melt butter in a large sauté pan over medium heat

2. Add onions - gently sauté until golden brown

3. Add mushrooms - sauté on med-high, 4-5 minutes

4. Add beer at med-high - simmer until reduced by half
_jfif.jpg)
5. Add Worcestershire and Dijon - simmer at med-high additional 2-3 minutes

6. Remove form heat, season with salt and pepper

Serve on top of our Cheddar Stout Ravioli and enjoy with your favorite beer!
